1967 William Morris ‘Granny Takes A Trip’ Jacket

(3 customer reviews)

£359.00

In the late 60s, The Beatles plus several other celebrities and bands (including The Move, The Who, Jimi Hendrix Experience, and the ‘Stones) frequented the KIng’s Road boutiques Granny Takes A Trip, Dandie Fashions & Hung On You). These influential stores took traditional 19th Century floral fabrics from designers like William Morris and turned them into beautiful tailored garments like the jacket George is wearing in this 1967 photo. We’ve replicated this jacket (or suit) from original GTAT samples.
